I downloaded HDDscan and scanned my hard drive.

There are alot of bad sectors. I think this explains my issue. I already have everything backed up....

I ran the chkdsk command prompt and it found some bad sectors. I have the event file linked here. I hope that you are able to open it on your own computers:
