Hi Voltixdark,
I'm the OP and no I haven't been able to fix it.
Basically we've gone deep enough into a problem where the major roadblock became identifying each problem in the log and fixing...
Yes - the SSD has been checked.
I verified SSD health using GParted with smartmontools included.
Both the short offline and long offline tests reported that they completed without errors.

zbook are you sure your post is for me?
Have you read the rest of the thread?
Hello Phil, welcome back!
Nothing changed from the last DISM log posted, which was dism9.txt
I still cannot boot the machine - with all the original symptoms.
The only thing that happened between...
Hi guys - I have not heard any responses for a week.
Please let me know what to try next - should I try replacing the .dlls with hash mismatches in the DISM log.
ok - I was able to extract all the KB packages on the healthy PC, and replaced the corrupted .mum and .cat files on the affected PC.
The CBS Manifest corruption count is now at 0, however there...
Sorry for the long delay - very busy with the kids, difficult to do anything :)
I was able to fix all the .mum and .cat files associated with a clean 1709 windows install by copying them from a...
Just wanted to provide a quick update - I was able to set up a 1709 x86 en-us machine, and will be working on copying the relevant packages and checking them for corruption with DISM on the affected...
Sure I can set up a new (different) PC with an x86 windows 10 version.
How do I start with the right version of windows so that I can add the appropriate images to it?
I assume if I start with an...
I took all of the clean files provided by Bree, and copied only the required .cat and .mum files to a separate directory. This allowed me to fix all the KB4056892 related .cat & .mum files reported...
Hi , index 2 was indeed a typo. I verified in the console that I typed index 1.
In fact there are no other indices available besides index 1.
I will try the files posted by Bree next.
I copied the .cat and .mum files provided by Bree to c:\windows\servicing\packages of the affected machine, and then I re-ran the command below (aka trying to recover from an image offline).
...
I compared the .mum files and the one posted by Bree is readable text, while mine is not.
I also used a diff program to run a compare - image posted.
I've attached both the .cat and the .mum...
just wanted to double check:
what exactly do you guys want me to do with the .cat and .mum files?
1) run integrity check on existing catalog installed on the OS with the problem? Not sure how do...
BTW - are we sure that the corrupted packages are on the C:\ drive and not inside the install.wim
Just checking - i don't have enough experience to be able to judge this.
I've looked through the 144 errors and the windows update catalog, and looks like cumulative packages KB4132650 and KB4103714 superseed all the other ones.
I've already tried KB4103714, will try...
I tried DISM /add-package with the latest 1709 KB4103714 update.
I think it's the latest 1709 since it's 5/21/2018 and not not superseded by any other packages.
Attached is the DISM6.txt log...
Just so we're on the same page - this is an offline DISM package install on the C: drive from a bootable 1803 Win 10 USB.
Just so I understand correctly, when I download the .msu from the catalog...
here is an Excel file that sorts 144 errors by package and date released
I've tried installing KB4056892 package which was the earliest date package listed in the corrupt list.
DISM /image:c:\...
Ok - I looked through the 144 errors reported in the previous DISM, and not knowing where to start, I decided to pick a random corrupt package to install that appeared in a lot of entries, in this...
ok so I downloaded the files from here:
UUP dump
This is the version 1709 (16299.371)x86 and created an install.wim image from these files.
I then copied the install.wim to...
Hi Phil - thank you for the link to all the builds. Would you know if the resulting cumulative .isos are bootable?
I'm downloading one now
Yes that is correct - I cannot boot.
Could you clarify exactly what you mean regarding /RestoreHealth not working in RE
Do you mean that it doesn't work because it's too buggy, or that it is not...
Need a 32bit x86 version
I think I'm starting to get somewhere with DISM
Would like to try a DISM based repair with matching iso 10.0.16299.371
Would you guys know where I could get my hands on a Win 10.0.16299.371 iso?
