I initially used/setup bitlocker prior to XTS-AES or AES-CBC encription ( for an SSD) drive¹... it did not hold and it was opened by me haphazardly... so I turned it off. Today I turned it...

After re-reading post 9, it DOES inform me to uninstall ( turn off) Bitlocker…. So I will pursue that path.
