I did a fresh install of Windows 11 and the tutorial here works exactly like it does for Windows 10. Not sure about upgrading from. 10 to 11. But don't see why it wouldn't work.

Have a question. Can you use DDU to completely uninstall and remove audio drivers and app components to do a fresh install of updated audio drivers?

I want to get a 2TB NVme SSD. for just putting games on.

Does these method's work for Windows 11?

You have to go in your monitors menu and look for auto scan. Turn that off if it's on.

Turn off the auto scan option in your monitors OSD. I had this problem with my MSI Optix MAG274QRD-QD. The monitor would blank out but the LED backlight stayed on. Hope it helps.

What irks me the most when doing a WU. Having to do another WU. Like just now. Updated to W10 19043.1151. Check again and have to dl a. Net update. I wish you could update both at the same time 😂

I figured this out finally. Only took almost 7 months. I went in the monitors options, turned off auto scan. The monitors sleeps correctly. No more LED back light staying on.

I see that these drivers fix the stuttering in SteamVR. That's good news.

Guru3d is reporting that there is a 471.11 driver release. But it isn't up on Nvidia's site.

I solved it. It was the New hot fix driver that I installed. I reverted back to 466.47 and the NCP works. This may help other people that don't realize this. Thanks.
