Qucikest method is to re-install...
Just to be clear, if using a 32 bit OS machine, it is better to use it as so as the computations take less time. Moving to a 64bit machine is yes more reliable but the machine has to use more memory....

So what your saying is the ntfs section can be manipulated to protect, but your unsure as to whether the FAT32 can? If anyone would like to jump in here...
I think it's setup so as to only be able to protect the drives and not the volumes. I may be proved wrong though!
