ever since the installment of the latest update, it seems like the location icon in the system tray is appearing more frequently.
Hi,
This icon seems to be gone now, or is it just me?
Is the Game Bar even notifying its active when starting a game?
It used to for me in older versions of Windows (where it even changed color), though no longer prompts like the NVIDIA GeForce...
Yes, that is obviously clear.
Thanks for the replies.
Meant to say you are running a preview CU, as the latest final CU is still 19043.985
well, i dont have them and i have no addiotional updates on my end..
the only difference might be that im using local account.
oh wait, you are running a preview build now?
i dont install any of...
I dont have the last 2 options either on 21H1, should i?
only the options above the bar, not the reduce and open.. might be because im not signed in? using a local user.
it is already opening on hover by default though.
i see from 1st reply within the...
i dont even have this "open on hover" option?
thats for the feedback, it might be the same root cause only different symptom.
i will try to reproduce, it usually happens after a gaming session and then computer is idle for a while, then i try...
Having a wierd issue with this one.
After a long period of time that the system is on and locked, once unlocked, the mouse and keyboard are responding very wierdly, like right click does more than...
same here, after a 2nd reboot though, it started appearing in full detail.
i turned it off, i guess it was turned off by default before this update?
the nvidia forum is actually full of the performance issue allgedely introduced within the latest windows updates, where the staff itself also suggest to uninstall some..
Failed to be installed automatically on my end yesterday according to the history, another manual search for updates did not re-try.
I see there is a BIOS update on my motherboard support page so...
decided to remove it anyhow, and as mentioned earlier, it will not be reinstalled once KB4577586 is properly installed.
hi,
this failed to automatically install twice for me.
should i let it be or manually try to install it?
edit:
OK, after a reboot and manually checking for updates, it installed...
or by running dism /online /cleanup-image /analyzecomponentstore
Analyze Component Store (WinSxS folder) in Windows 10
Oh i have uninstalled KB4561600 which is what the cleanup should have probably done, or at least remove its installation files from the WinSxS folder.
This brings me to another question. Once one...
I guess that since Adobe Flash is reaching its EOL on Windows machines, it is no longer being properly referenced under the cleanup procedure of DISM manifest, hence obsolete packages aren't being...
I also have that 1 so-called reclaimable package that cannot be reclaimed, and using any cleanup method does not remove it.
Can you please elaborate for which KB should be removed exactly?
This is...
The preview one seems to cover the final one, as probably no changes between the 2.
Hmm after upgrading to 20H2 last week, i still only retain 1 reclaimable package from 2004 release.
I don't have the latest preview update though (optional update before the final one).
I confirm this is happening on my work 1809 machine of the parallel update (October, 2020).
Total of 55MB cannot be removed though appears as a reclaimable package.
Not neceserily though understood they are like beta versions for testing before the final release.
Normally they should not be pushed onto a system by default or even when one checks for updates,...
Same Brink, i really don't know why are these being pushed, though maybe they are not being followed by a final version.
