Listen to you, it was a bug in the bios version, that froze the clock from applying saves bios settings. It has never happened after the fix as it was software related not hardware, got that through...
I did have a windows update that hadn't restarted, that might be it but I didn't know that is can change your time.
Are you even running windows 10? Update your info.
It got the minutes correct and was off by exactly 2 hours so it must be a bug with the time zone, but I have it set up correct. Listen to you get a new motherboard lol.

I got this one for wake timers and I have it disabled in my power options.

Either way it's still a benchmark, only way to know for sure is in "Real" world usage and not something that an application does.
Don't know which review your talking about but I can only speak for my experience with 840 EVO's and 16GB RAM.
Yeah it's just a gimmick IMO I used it for a little while when I first purchased my SSD's but quickly noticed no difference with it on other than benchmarks.
