i have the image on the desk top , do i need to save it elsewhere ?

i copied the image file to a usb stick , but the pc could not see it when i tried recovery . so i need to put hp recovery manager on the usb stick aswell ?

hi , i put a different drive in the pc and loaded up windows 10 , when i plug the old drive in i see a recovery image , i cant seem to use it though , do i have to convert it ? ...

the drive is showing as local disc M , which seems to be empty . and recovery image N which opens to prog data , recovery, and windows c shortcut
there doesnt seem to be any files to save

ok , i have run the hd tune pro a couple of times , the first time it brought up a couple of red squares and seemed to get stuck , i left it running while at work today and it seems to have stopped...

when i click on surface test i get a message " available only after registration and activation

the drive appears in windows as local disc (M: ) 915 GB free of 915 GB and also recovery image (N: ) 1.61 GB free of 13.4 GB ,,
sea tools does not see the drive . Windows gives message there...

i have taken the drive out and put it in a dock . im running seatools for windows on the drive from my pc

i disabled fast boot , disable secure boot , and enabled legacy support , then the usb drive showed up in the boot list

I created a boot disc /usb with the hard disk sentinel , but when i press f9 its not showing in the boot devices , i only have , windows boot manager, , UEFI IPv4 realtek PCIe GBE family...
