Hehe, I noticed that Macrium misdated the v7.1.3159 release as 18 March 2018. That's been corrected now. :)
Thanks, Josey.
An FYI regarding today's update (7.1.2899) - the problem with Insider builds of Win10 that I pointed pigpenz to earlier is stated to have been resolved:
mrcbt.sys Update
...
pigpenz - not sure if this known issue identified in earlier Insider builds has been resolved but it may be worth looking into the earlier "workaround" outlined by Macrium here: ...
Thanks, Josey.
I'll take this update as hopefully they fixed some of things that got "broken" during some recent updates (been holding off because of that).
I reckon you could try downloading the full installer, Josey? I'm at work, will check from my lappy (don't think I got .2695 yet) install when at home.
Aha! Thanks, Cliff. Can't afford to give up my day job yet...;)
You're welcome. I have another hour yet!:)
Have a good one, Cliff.

They must have fixed their typo in the 4 hourish gap between when I snagged it and you did, Cliff - I see my link had the 3, however.
Hi, folks. Looks like another (minor) revision of Macrium Reflect is up: http://updates.macrium.com/reflect/v6/v6.1.1023/details6.1.1023.htm

Good job, Almightly1 ! You read pretty excited and I'm glad to have been a part along with the rest of the members that got you sorted!
1) I noticed an EFI folder on your partition 1 and,...
Making the 2nd partition use ALL of the remaining space was not what I was suggesting. Resize it to take up all but (450 MB + 394.18 GB = ) 394.62 GB, which leaves room at end of the drive to drag...
Go back to start, unselect all source partitions, drag partitions down one by one. After dragging 2nd partition down, RESIZE it BEFORE dragging the 3rd partition down into place. You can review...
Sure. The link I gave in post # 281 explains cloning and it's pretty much the same whether in the Windows interface or booted from rescue media, i.e., hot or not.
LOL - geek of all, but Master of none! I think I've only used MR a month or two more than you, OldMike. My familiarity with that feature comes more from the same capability in Image for Windows...
Ah yes, don't know why I didn't remember that as I have that also - I guess I go to the MR images first because of the further functionality given by actually mounting the partition as a drive in...
There are probably utilities out there to do that with but I would have to google for them same as you unless another member pipes up with a suggestion. The reason I haven't googled that is that MY...
Take note that you can resize this partition as you describe "on the fly" as part of setting up the clone in MR (I'm guessing here that your 25 GB partition FR partition you want to keep is already...
You're very welcome, glad to help.
Yes, it's not called that under imaging, note here:

Yes, it's call a Forensic Sector copy in cloning and it's an option called "Make an exact copy..." in backup.
Empty space doesn't matter to Macrium if you go with the default settings for clone, it will do an Intelligent Sector Copy, i.e., only those sectors in use get copied to the target.
You can,...
