Have no idea why or how but apparently there was something wrong with the image I downloaded using the library wifi. I went and sat in front of a little food joint that has a decently fast wifi....
No, they did not. Followed the directions and got this...crap, cant load the picture from my phone..media driver is missing. Could be cd usb or hdd etc.

Well....I thought I had a Windows 10 Disc that was not being used but I did not. I tried to install Windows 8. DId all the updates...and it would not boot. So I purchased a ISO image from Microsoft....
Leads in my laptop? I no longer am using the internal wifi card...it is sitting on the table next to me. I am using the USB wifi dongle...and the problem persists.

Just put 18 images on a USB stick, fired up the Linux machine and uploaded them with 0 troubles. With my WInblows 10 machine I can not even upload a single image without it failing....
Firmware is up to date....
Modem is a Zyxel C1100Z. ISP is Century Link. Slowest DSL they offer, 1.5MBPS. We live out in the country, every one has 5 acres. My neighbors network will often show up. CL knows of how overloaded...

I just physically removed the wifi card. Still having problems. One of which was the USB dongle was set to turn off. Changed this setting...but without rebooting the laptop I still did not have any...
I pulled the wifi card out and am using the USB dongle, so far no troubles. Just wondering if there is a way for me to uninstall all the drivers for the 3165 card? Don't know what our schedule looks...

I can disable the 3165, plug in the USB WIFI dongle and get the same results. From what I have read the wifi card I have has some serious issues with Windows 10...
I have a USB WIFI adapter..Wondering if I should simply remove the wifi adapter card..it is not any better as far as staying connected. Now I can't even get on the internet unless I am plugged in.

I did "uninstall" the network adapter and removed the drivers. Reinstalled the Dell drivers and the adapter...no help.....
