It did and thanks to everyone for their help...….
I haven't done a screenshot in years but I described it already. It's a rectangular box about 1/2" high and 5" long that at the bottom of the screen that says "this website wants to send you...
I turned "let apps send you notifications" off so lets see if that does it. There are so many on-off switches all over Windows 10 that it's hard to even find them all. I probably have 95% of the...
EVERYTHING that resembles notifications is turned off and I still get the pop-up at the bottom of the screen. I use the Chrome browser and have been for 10 years. I'm not going change browsers every...
Everything is turned off that even resembles getting pop-ups and notifications. About half the websites I visit produce a long
rectangle at the bottom of the screen that says; "bla bla wants to send...
How can I get rid of the long rectangular popup in the middle of the bottom of the screen that says somebody wants to send info but I need to turn my settings on. It shows up on about half of the...
I hate onedrive and turned it off
So he has 3 m.2 slots? This is really getting far fetched.
You are wrong again, while they can be used as a tiny ssd by itself they don't recommend it (read up) and they must be tied to the drive with the os on it. They don't affect more than 1 drive so a...
I don't think you would be proofing anything, from what I read only hi end gamers and heavy multitaskers can benefit from the 32gb (but I don't know what you do). Unfortunately the used M.2 module...
No you are totally wrong, they are never a mini ssd, you can't double and triple 32gb ones and the 32 is overkill for 90% of users, and no you can't use it on any other systems than I specified (for...
well don't do it
How did this thread get off the Optane of the OP ?
32mb optane is overkill unless you are a heavy duty multitasking guru on crack. I paid $25 for mine and it only works with i3, i5 and i7 with 7th gen Kabylake processor as of now. You don't have to...
Nope, you didn't mention hybrid sleep, thanks for trying though.
Not in # 14, not a driver, just a simple check box..............
I said morning because I used it right before retiring. I shouldn't have to use power button. It's all fixed now, I disabled hibernation sleep.
Restoring the power options did nothing.
It's only 2 weeks old and never had a problem sleeping but it never woke at the touch of a key until I enabled USB wake in the bios but it only works right for an hour and goes back to not waking...
Restore what to defaults?
The bios now has the USB wake support enabled and it now only works for an hour instead of never (before then it was disabled). Performance plan is like driving around with the pedal to the metal and...
Describing what? I don't do commands and stuff like that, I think there is a simple solution since it works for a while.
Hibernation is set at none. I don't do all those fancy moves in fear of messing something up. I think there is a simple fix for this. Is there a change in the bios I can try?
Right, it's all in my posts. Timings are all 30 minutes BEFORE sleeping and it works fine for an hour +-.
Probably why they are found so cheap on Ebay. I will give an assessment of it when I get it.
