My machine crashes and reboots after going into Sleep mode after installing this build.
ISO or not, I'll be holding off on this one :)
Indeed. This update rendered my box unusable. Had to go back to 1909 and will sit here for a while.
It does seem that this update was pulled. Fired up a VM on Slow ring and the update is not offered.
Had to uninstall this update due to multiple sporadic power off / kernel power events. Updates now paused until things settle.
Edit: System totally borked after this update. Whether it was the...
Fired up a VM in VMware Workstation 20 H1 preview (since I'm using WSL2 on host) to test this out. Upgrade from release failed until I realized that this build, and maybe some before?, does not...
Hmm. I had three Kernel-Power reboot events in succession upon resuming from standby this morning. The system shut down, rebooted into start screen and two more times rebooted until Windows realized...
I recall this happening prior to an earlier major release where slow ring was stuck and people on the prior version in RP or non-insiders were getting relevant patches.
Hmm. Now I'm really tempted to jump back on the slow ring.
The temptation is strong....anyone using this as a daily driver on their main?
Interesting to come across this. I was on x.10012 and began experiencing random hard reboots -- i.e. the PSU clicked and rebooted the system: no BSOD, no hard locks, etc. The only thing in Event...
I had this offered but the install failed with: ""We couldn't install some updates using the account you're signed in with". Have not seen this message before.
Yes. Not at a pc with an Nvidia card at the moment, but you go into NVCP and then 'System Information' you should get a window that describes driver type.
Is the 435.27 driver you were pushed DCH or Standard?
Is this out in RP ring? I'm not getting the offer.
I'm looking to do a clean install of 1903. Any feedback one way or the other with respect to using Windows Media Tool to get 1809 and then upgrade to 1903 via insider or using Rufus and UUPdump to...
If you have the DCH version installed, you will need to download NVCPL from the Microsoft store.
It's out on Windows Update, but not in the catalog or on NVIDIA's servers for download. If you are an insider and using the Standard (non-DCH) type of driver, WU will offer the driver.
430.00 is available on WU for those in the fast or slow rings if the driver type is Standard, not DCH.
The issue is night light does not activate after the system goes to sleep and comes back out. I have to sign off and sign back on (or reboot) to get NL working again.
Still fighting with an intermittent night light feature here. I'm wondering if a clean install will fix it but it's pretty close to release and I don't want to do it 2x.
I have issues with mine where night light doesn't work when coming out of standby. Same applies to ICC profiles. I have to sign off and sign in again for it to work.
Still no "My Office" app on my my insider machine. Work PC did get the app, however.
Can anyone not using this in a VM check to see if the monitors are listed in the color calibration application? Similarly, if gamma and/or other color corrections are able to be made via Nvidia CPL...
This looks like a bug. Issue was present in 18346 but there is a note about a fix put in 18348 from today. The color calibration issue seems to still be there, so I'm not sure I'm willing to give it...
