That's the whole point It wouldn't let me do any thing without the password. Usually I can use a usb with no problem Now when I use it (even in boot options F12 on my pc) it goes to the log in...

Is it possible to sync linux and windows to one account(MS) and gain access that way?

Either I'm doing it wrong or whatever, it will not let me boot as you describe. So unless someone else has an idea I guess this pc will end up in the garbage thanx anyway.

It's still asking for password. No matter what I try it wants the password. MS says that if I have 2 accounts I should be able to log in with 1 of them. I can't even do a system restore.
