Yep. Ran it when I first noticed it was missing. Came back clean. Ran it earlier too, still clean. Ran DISM, came back clean. Even ran chkdsk on the offchance something was up there, clean as well.

I had to reset my Windows install last week (unrelated matter) and Shell Experience Host, which prior to the reset was always in my Task Manager at startup, is no longer there at startup. My Start...
That's what I'm seeing, yes. Firefox. Originally thought it was once per session, but it's also turning up the first time I turn on a Youtube video in addition to first time going to a site that has...
It's indeed Google/Chrome-related, even on other browsers. I've experimented a little bit. If I'm logged into my Google account when I start Firefox (using Google as my homepage) or if I'm not logged...
Not so strange, as the Feature Update was 2004 itself and WU tends to try to railroad people into updating. It got me last month, I was comfy as heck on 1903 and WU decided that needed to change. Now...
Technically through Fast Boot, but not actively. Just not a fan of leaving it idle for long periods of time. It gets a full reboot every 4-5 days.
If it helps, the timeframe I observed during the...
Ah, I see now. I can confirm that both are in the Services tab, just as your screenshots show.
I don't have OneDrive installed, so OneDriveSync was not a factor for me. I wouldn't rule it out for anyone else, though.
That's the conclusion I drew from my Trillian experience. What I read about the program mentioned it creating a scheduled task for itself, one that I was never able to find in the source folders of...
As Try3 has posted, I did have to deal with something like this a few years back. The only way I was able to find out more about what it was trying to do was to go into the operational log of the...
So apparently, if you disable the service and/or disable/delete the scheduled task, this update will re-enable the task and/or re-enable/recreate the task every so often. Annoying.
Do you have Trillian installed, by any chance?
Got it earlier, scared the crap out of me in the process. Had to go scurrying for info on the related background program that suddenly showed up.
Where in the settings do you see this?
I'm not getting any unexplained BSODs, but I'm still seeing these. Would've thought something would've been done about it in this latest upgrade, but no go.
Somehow, updating to 1803 fixed this.
I have almost the exact CloudStore error issue as described here, right down to a bunch registering on boot and when I start up mmc.exe. Only differences being that I'm not getting any Information...
It's downloading! It's automatically downloading! I don't have to go get it manually! I didn't even have to manually check for downloads! I could cry right now.
So after three representatives and several hours of trying and failing to figure out why Windows Update is being such a pill about this (including uninstalling the update, disabling Norton, and...
Manual update again, yay!
Would think Norton would've verified with Microsoft that all their products have the registry key set, not just Norton Security, but somehow that has apparently slipped...
Yep, it's Trillian. I think it was trying and failing to set a scheduled task for itself. Weirdly, it'll still do it after Trillian's uninstalled. Had to reset my install to get it to go away.
For anyone else using Lenovo, they've started rolling the updates out. Finished mine a few minutes ago. My first BIOS update and it scared the crap out of me for a few moments. Hopefully never have...
Holy crap, I thought Lenovo's bad labeling of their patches causing me to get sidetracked downloading the wrong one (I eventually scrounged around their site a bit more and found the one I needed)...
I'm more than willing to bet this is at least partly because of Chrome's Flash-related shenanigans. I'm a regular on a forum-based site that's rather Flash-heavy and we're fielding questions from...
You're not the only one. I'm not in the Insider program and I'm getting the same. It wouldn't surprise me if they don't actually have a separate version for 1709 yet and are just lumping us in with...
