I did go ahead and install the 9.1.9.1005 and it is working fine for me too.

See the pic for where the drivers they are looking to see are located. It's not under the CD/DVD drive so it doesn't matter that it's not showing up. Your issues are the same as what mine was doing....

I finally got it back up after saying something failed and it timed out on the install of the Standard driver. After it timed out it showed a different driver listed so I rebooted anyway. It got hung...

Automatic search found nothing new. Installing the Standard driver now.
