Actually, it worked fine with Reg Add. Maybe you don't need it, though. But I sure am glad to get my Emojis back!

This worked for me 😋😎😍 See??? Open a command prompt (as administrator by right clicking on it and choosing administrator), paste the the following line, press enter and then restart your PC.

Nope. Doesn't work from the OSK either! ;(
I tried these commands in an administrator's Command prompt earlier but tried it through the Power Shell admin's prompt just now as you suggested. Neither one fixed the problem. I wonder why?
I just tried it. The emojis panel opens up but it just won't insert the emoji into anything, not even the advanced reply window.
I have just found the same problem with win 10 2H 2020. I can open the emoji panel with the Win + . key combo but when I click on an emoji it just refuses to insert into Firefox or any other program...
I'll give it a try when I have the time. Thanks!
I deliberately set the PC up to not have to use a password. Thus I don't know why it requires me to click the log in button when waking from sleep. No password is required, just having to push the...
Win 10 Enterprise does not offer that option. Any other ideas?
I have exactly the same problem. I am using Window 10 Enterprise edition 2004 64 bit. Whenever I wake my computer from sleep, it forces me to push the Enter key to sign in or click it with the mouse....
My friend has come to the same conclusion you folks did. This is just Cyberreason putting "bait" folders on each hard drive and when I delete them, it springs into action and stops it happening.

I've got an expert friend who is going to take a look at my system, hopefully tomorrow. I'm hoping he can fix it. He's in his 50s and has been doing this sort of thing for years now,
I will...
I do a backup every night with Macrium. But I'm sure all it has done is backup the virus also, so these backup are unlikely to be of any use.
The only one I did not try that is on your list is...
OK, here is the link to the Virustotal scan: https://www.virustotal.com/#/file/7db95180cfe5706e905e1c343cb2cfd3438402c5918d911f1ed8d5a79ac475ae/detection
It doesn't apparently see anything ... :(...
OK, here are the two text files it produced. Hopefully you folks can see what's going on here!
Hi Simrick,
That file always turns out to be "explorer.exe"--our good old Windows Explorer.
So something is masquerading as explorer or adding itself to explorer for the purpose of trying to...
OK, here it is. I still haven't been able to delete this bug even after about 10 different AV scans! This one is from today at about 3:50 PM MST, after I deleted the two folders it put up on my C...
Thanks for your help folks! I really appreciate it!
It will be until at least Saturday night before I can get to trying these solutions.
One problem I have had with the offline AV scanners is...
OK, I have tried both of these scanners and the problem still exists. This malware is hidden really well and is putting these folders back on all four of my drives within a minute of my deleting...
Hi all,
I have somehow acquired some malware that keeps trying to encrypt my files but I have a program running called CyberReason which blocks it everytime it tries to do its evil deed. Yet it...
No, it boots in about 17 seconds, just like it did previously.
I can't remember the last clean install either but other than the restart anomaly, it runs fine. I don't think it has anything to do...
Hi Ken,
Yes, I've done everything you have suggested except the clean install. Ugh--I don't want to do the latter! Everything is up to date, including all the drivers.
It has to be something in...
Yes, it was a weird problem and I searched Google in vain for a solution. So I decided to just reinstall the Win 10 CU, as I said, and that fixed it.
The great lesson of it, I guess, is not to...
Hi all,
Since updating to the Win 10 CU my PC's Restarting screen sits there and won't proceed to the reboot for precisely 65 seconds. I've timed it several times with my watch.
In my old...
I had exactly the same problem after messing with the system fonts via Winaero Tweaker.
Anyway, I simply did a reinstall of Creators Update and that fixed it. No Clean Install just a simple Update...
