Welcome! lol. Does your PC have a single HDD or multiple? I'm thinking this particular 'explorer' bug affects machines with multiple HDDs in them (possibly). If I'm right I wonder what would happen...
The article seems to be about install issues/error codes and for me Win10 installs fine, only after it then freezes, etc.
Don't think we have any common components. My os is on a 250gb SSD and I have two SATA drives in my PC for data. There isn't any os remnants on these.
Yip that's exactly the same symptoms as me. Its very strange. What mobo, video card, network card etc do you have?
Was praying this was my solution too but sadly not. Even after doing this and rebooting the next time Windows loads i get the eventual freeze and same symptoms you described. I have now regressed...
Yeah I've done all of that too and no go for me either. Sometimes it will fine for 15mins before crashing then all of a sudden the start button won't work and apps don't open and the internet...
Got the exact same issue. I re-install Intel HD graphics driver and now the freezing seems to be less frequent. I am going to try mobo chipset drivers later. I don't know if it's related but when I...
