Hi sagrant, can you try 'net start http' at an admin command prompt please?

Hi sagrant, try running the Microsoft system file checker (SFC.exe)

Right click on the windows icon, in the bottom left hand corner, and you should see 'command prompt', and 'command prompt (admin)' (not sure on the exact wording, as i'm not in front of my win 10...

Run it from an 'admin' command window.

Go to C -> Windows -> System32 -> Spool -> Printers and delete all files inside this folder. Then try re-starting the print spooler.
If it still wont start, try starting it from a command prompt...

Did you check the SSDP, Http service, as per my previous post?
If the service isn't running, you see the printers in the control panel, but they are greyed out, and inaccessible.

Check that the service 'SSDP' is running. If it isn't, and it won't start, check that the http service is running. Note: the http service seems to be hidden from any normal view, so try 'net start...

When you shared the folders, did you then go to the security tab to allow users?

That's exactly what I've done, but I should have the choice of what's running on port 80. Also, it took me a while to work out why Apache wouldn't start, and assumed that it was a Win 10...

Now i'm stumped! I have three shared network locations, and they all worked after the upgrade.
