It is a reporting issue and not a permission issue. It has been discussed here in the past. EFI and! RECOVERY and perhaps others hidden are affected. It appeared after 19041.630 or so. Never seen it...

There is no other disk involved. The issue has been inherent for several months and exhibits in wrongly reporting 100% Free for system partitions.

SFC always repaired errors found, DISM ScanHealth found no issues subsequently.

SFC /Scannow finds errors on every single updated machine.

Disk Management still displays "100% Free" for System partitions...

Not surprised there as the BSOD issue introduced with KB5000802 is with Type 3 Printer Drivers. Microsoft own FAX driver version 10.0.19041.508 in use is of Type 3 !

Did you ever use the SSD you are trying to install to with a different OS?
If yes, you could try to CLEAN it of all residue. For this you would go into the "Repair my Computer" WinRE/PE environment...

What version BIOS do you have on that MB? Current is F6e. May be worth flashing that first as well if not on that latest V.

Try with CSM disabled, that may be the culprit ... i.e. disable in BIOS it seems enabled at the moment looking at your pic.
