Great,
I will start this tomorrow. Lots of testing ahead ;)
I’ll keep you posted.
I do have 32Gb of RAM. Its a 4x8 set from Corsair LPX. Right now, I only use 2x8 sticks with a total of 16Gb.
The tests I performed for the past 3 days are:
1: Dual testing under memtest86+. 1...

This is frustrating, first I get errors, and after a re-test, everything seems fine. How can we ever pinpoint the problem with such a...
Ah, okay. Let's do that.
For now, I'm testing the faulty RAM again. Just curious if it errors again.
I'll have a look at crucial. But I do have 4 sticks of 8Gb RAM, bought as a set of 32Gb...

I ran memtest86, and after a few passes I got a huge fail. I don't know how to collect the log with log collector 2, since the log is on a USB stick. I did however, saved a html-report which I'll...
I run memtest from a booteable usb. Can I run memtest from the windows-environment?
Again, a reboot. Since I went afak, I have no idea when this happened. Okay, I’ll dl memtest86. Do I need to run a test on the 1st module again? Does memtest logs, because I didn’t find a log on...
Hi zbook,
I started the memtest86+ on the 2nd ram stick (I gave the other 16Gb to my son, so for now, there are only 2 sticks to go with ;-)
Frustrating thing was that I fired up the test...
Hi zBook.
Some very strange occurrences happened yesterday. After the halted CPU, I tried to restart the PC.
- First I got an "out of range" on my monitor. The PC Failed to boot, and booted into...
Okay!
I'll get back to you soon
Okay, willdo.
Nights will be still 23° at the moment, and a lot of heat builds up during the day. From tomorrow on, nights will get cooler.
So I test stick 1 in DIMM 1, after that stick 2 in...
Hi Zbook
I started the test, and got a fail fairly quick. The current setup is a stick of 8Gb in dimm 1, and another 8Gb in Dimm 3. How do I proceed now? Do I have to start the test over again...
Doh, I feel so stupid to have read over this. Outside temperature must had something to do with it, brain melt or so ;-) Sorry!
Here is the link to the dmp.

Hello everyone,
After having BSOD's for over a year now, and trying several options, I turned to this channel as a last hope option.
I purchased my PC over two years ago - assembled In...
Ah yes, I see, it's in other tests as well.
I'll continue the tests. Thank you!
Hello zbook
I started with the memtest86+ but I am a little bit worried.
The test shows only 1 core. Shouldn't that be 4 cores? I did not select the ht-option. When i press <c> for config, I...
Okay, No errors on memtest, but it wasn't the 86+ version, so I'm going to fire that one up before I go to bed.
In the meanwhile, I'm going to re-install windows on a second drive (ssd) and look...
I went back to that post, and I recall the problem.
But it hasn't occured since then...
I'm going to do an extensive memtest again. Since I'm about to go to bed, I'll start the memtest86+ on all...
