Have you checked SETTINGS>PERSONALISATION>BACKGROUND

And changed it from slideshow to picture

Who makes the sound card as I went to cmedia Web page says u need the driver from who makes the device

It was the same sound card

I did a search some else had problems with sound and there coment was disable the card in device manager and renable it

Have you tried Daniel k drivers
