Only thing that worked for me was installing the 1809 update, even that is not perfect, sometimes they show up in explorer other times I have to type the network path but at least they all connect....
But the fixes and various other repairs don't always work. I have 2 PC's which i haven't needed to touch and one were no matter what I do i cant get it to connect.
Well it seems the 1803 update has rendered my PC 50% useless as I can no longer use it as a htpc.
Way to go ms.
Unsure when I say unsure I mean I have never assigned anything to either. That said I have 2 PC's using the same win version and they don't have this issue. The one thing I need to check is WiFi as...
Hi i'm slowly going through various posts which are similar to my above problem but looking for a quick answer.
Essentially my problem is this, I have a home server, 3 PC's, 2 TV's and a bluray...
No worries, glad you it's fixed
I found that the HDMI/DP cable restricted the hz to 30 whilst the HDMI/HDMI gave me 60.
First change the cable to HDMI to HDMI then go to the Nvidia control menu as i previously said, it doesn't matter which HDMI on the TV you use.
Before turning on the PC check the TV is set to 3840x2160 in its settings(sounds daft but ive had the TV go to the incorrect resolution on my Samsung) then turn on the PC in the NVidia control panel...
down load and install on one then do the same on the other, you may have to register both devices though.
Try in the App store.

Hi, maybe not as dramatic as it sounds but, It seems that for whatever reason One drive has taken over my libraries on my main PC, then when it syncs with one of my other devices it dumps the items...
Just watched this video are you connecting to an external monitor or expecting to use your laptop screen? also have you connected all the 6/8 pin power leads?...
Good find, cheers 🍻
I seem to have cured mine, I have a AV amp which passes all video if I have it set to hdmi 1&2 it wakes the pc, if I only set it to 1 output then it's fine. I have 2 outputs TV & Pj.
+1 on this but bizarrely my surface pro3 seems to boot the same?
Two things I noticed was that location services and the onboard Vpn (not any private services you may have) were on once I disabled them my connection came back.
Cheers, completely forgot bios.
Go to portforward.com they have the relevant tools
I have this issue with a NVidia gpu, its been ongoing for some time now it seems to be intermittent though, every 2 or 3 wakes and it reverts to the realtek sound card which I either uninstall or...
Personally rather than looking at a CPU upgrade try a graphics card upgrade as that is always best for games, your integrated / on board graphics are the stumbling block. A good clean will help too
Just in case anyone is interested, it seems that setting the text and apps size in display settings has an adverse effect on the actual output in the display used, as a result scaling is way off....
Cheers for the reply no changes made it just started out of the blue, as for restoring may give that a go if all else fails.
