I've already tried that but the checkbox does not show up in any circumstances. I tried to restart etc. does not show up.

The last update messed up some of my associations, by right-clicking on specific file types it asked which app I want to associate to it but I associated a wrong application to a file type, ticked...

OK I understand now.
So if I want to "provoke" the appearance of that window basically I can do it once a day :)

What do you mean by "It'll only occur once in a while, I believe once a day"?
I ran it manually by right clicking on Time in task scheduler but nothing happened.
