That is unfortunately true.
I look upon it as one of the best cards I have owned three fans only one of which blast through the darn small chassis brackets and the other two blow within the case...

My system was much better with Catalyst or Omega than Crimson.
Since I have been forced to upgrade to windows 10 I do not have access to fan speed or correct eyefinity settings.
