To my knowledge you cannot sort pinned Taskbar items into folders. However this may be possible with Toolbars. Just right click on the Taskbar and hover over Toolbars then click on New Toolbar....
If you have the peek feature enabled you can just right click on the bottom right of the screen on the task bar and set it to peek at desktop which shows the desktop when you hover over it without...
Oh I see, it has to be done in the form of a web shortcut. I was creating a file shortcut to the main executable and placing the command in the target box which is why it wasn't working before....

I think I'll just use it from a script and create a shortcut from that, much less complicated that way.
I'm not should what you mean, is there a particular syntax that you're suppose to use in the target box?

This is great and all, however it seems that when you launch a Win10 App this way that it create additional 'Windows Explorer' processes that doesn't seem to terminate after you've closed the Win10...
