Hi, I've been getting random BSODs during boot on my PC, which isn't terrible because I can get around it by restarting, and it'll usually boot into Windows fine, sometimes after another similar...
I still haven't solved this issue. Just wondering, anyone else has used O&O ShutUp 10 in the past? I'm wondering if it's possible that that caused the issue?
Interesting. Well I didn't have the same issue after that post, but I did only notice it happening recently, so perhaps it was the 20H2 update. I thought I was one of the lucky few that never had...
I'm sorry that you have the same issue. I never found a solution. I upgraded from 1909 to 2004 and this happened. I recently updated to 20H2 but it seems like it was a minor update so this wasn't...
Hi, I've been having this issue fairly often on my Windows 10 (20H2) computer. If I am loading a website/service and the internet connection somehow goes out in the process (internet going down, or...
Yes, just did an sfc /scannow. No issues. Clearing the lists and re-enabling them did nothing. Seems like a Windows bug? Some files under the same application would have no issues opening again, but...
No they are local. I have tried turning off Jump Lists and back on again. The file history is gone but the first entry to pop up after some use already says file not found.
I'm having an issue precisely because the files are still at exactly the same locations. It doesn't make sense at all since the preview of the file location that pops up on mouse hover actually...
Hi, I am suddenly facing issues with the Jump Lists after upgrading to version 2004. For some reason, when I try to access recent files (that have not been moved), Windows thinks that the file is not...
Those were caused by a malfunctioning CPU, and was confirmed by AMD. I got a replacement CPU installed now and it's been fine. I was getting anywhere from 0-5 BSODs a day before the CPU was replaced.
But I have no BSOD issues?
I finally solved the issue. I did a reset of the BIOS settings like you suggested, and the Sleep option came back.
Funniy though, when I tried to restore the previous BIOS settings using a saved...
Sorry zbook, I managed to miss your previous post.
Attached is the .zip file the tool generated.
Seems like the conclusion to that thread is that it's a Windows 10 problem.
I was previously running 1909 and am running 1909 currently as well. I'll try installing an older GPU driver to see if it helps.
I downloaded the Windows 10 Media Creation tool using another laptop and made a USB install drive, so I guess it should be the newest version?
Yes, the motherboard is only a few months old.
...
I've tried both and the sleep option still doesn't appear. Isn't the issue more related to Windows thinking that the system firmware doesn't support sleeping?
Yes, there are no newer versions. I've updated the spec list.
Sorry, forgot to mention that the motherboard is a MSI B450-A Pro. Before I reinstalled Windows 10, the option was there.
I recently reinstalled Windows 10 Professional on my computer (specs below) and found that there was no Sleep option in the Power settings. I've tried all the touted solutions I've found on Google,...
That's disappointing to hear. I did run an sfc /scannow and chkdsk and all were fine.
Yes, I'm quite sure.
Edit: Tried your steps above again, and at assign letter=s, it says The specified drive letter is not free to be assigned.
Edit 2: Rebooted and did all the steps...
Thank you for clarifying that. And how do I go about deleting this partition and recreating it using the command line?
Edit: I went ahead and formatted the partition, assigned it as S: and used...
Is this the 128MB RAW-formatted partition or the 100MB FAT32-formatted partition?
The link is not accessible to me. It says it's either removed or I don't have the privileges to see it.
