I'm obviously missing something, as when I open Control Panel I get the first pic, and when I click System, I get the second pic. So mine does not redirect to settings as that says it will......

My Control Panel works with any link I use. Nothing looks any different than before. And everything seems to be working in CP. So not sure what's going on with your systems...

What bios did it put you on?

I've experimented with each thing I read over the last five pages or so, and everything works perfectly well for me. I did them several times, and never noticed anything odd.

Update went very quickly and easily for me. No problems. Weather maps works perfectly well, with no crashes when I move locations, and my AMD drivers are still in tact and working perfectly well....
