    Maintenance on Machine

Is there any programs out there that anyone knows about thats legit that can do a performance check on windows? I know there's a ton out there that have bloatware in them or something. I'm just noticing quite few things that are becoming quite annoying and I'm contemplating doing an inplace reinstall of the OS without losing the programs.

So far, noticing intermittent stuttering with the mouse during 100% CPU usage, never really had that before. I'll open up programs while listening to audio and get that weird gamie distorted sound that you know happens when the computer is getting overloaded. I just feel like something may be off and the only thing that I can really attest everything possibly to is that I recenlty upgraded to the Creators Update, ONLY because I was getting tired of pushing it off. I'd turn off the Windows Upgrade service and it'd get turned back on, I turned my wifi onto a metered connection, but that interfered with keeping a good connection with my bluetooth mouse.

Any suggestion are always greatly appreciated!

Kk, I'll try out the Kerish one. 9.95 isn't breaking the bank for me plus I have two other machines that can be included in on the license. Thank you for the input

If it were me, I'd try the free app first. Guys and gals who recommend free apps generally know they work.

Just a suggestion . . . you've given some of your system specs in the My Computer space; why not include the additional specs you've shown us there too. When everything's included in one space, it helps tremendously.

No problem; it's just easier for those helping to have information all in one place.

I have none of those applications, they are all spurious Bloatware.
Windows updates has done it's work for 4 years with no problem.

What you need to do is basic software maintenance, Windows has all what is necessary to do that. Continuously is the way to do it on every Application install, and after those Windows 10 version updates.

The continuous tight reign on things means no wasted time doing repair-installs, clean installs, other rubbish and faffing around with silly extra 'managers'.

Have you tried going into Settings and typing "performance" in the search box? Click on Device Performance And Health at the bottom of the pop up box.

    See if that will help?
