As you grow older, you learn not to tempt fate - you don't experiment with things like How to Do a Repair Install of Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade unless you see it done physically by someone else after a bad experience.

As you grow up you learn who trust or not all we were doing was trying to help you all this time so where is the part where we made a mistake that make you not trust us. Also please stop talking to me like i'm a child i'm 41 years old.

You are still a child, I am old enough to be your grandfather. I have tried to end this conversation several times and you continue on by trying and forcing me to do something that I am not going to do.

I don't think you understand what an in-place upgrade does.

It's just like upgrading to the next version of Windows 10, except you are upgrading to the same version that you already have. I have done it several times, nothing was lost, all my files and installed apps are still there and working - I still have some apps that were installed back when this PC was running Windows 7. It fixes many problems, without loosing anything.

And if you don't like the results, like any other upgrade you have 10 days in which you can roll back to your previous system.

Alright guys, I will give it a try and I will definitely get back. This still does not answer my original question as to why I got a notification with "click here for more information" and the link did nothing.
