Ok, I realized what I should have known... Every windows 10 update or install I've ever done, I had to make sure none of my Midi musical keyboards were plugged in at the time of install and wait until its finished to plug them back in. Same issue with this one. BUT, i am now in windows 10 latest update and im still having the same problems. I can not open Task Manager at all, I cant install Google Chrome nor can I install Dropbox, amungst other smaller things that I cant remember at this moment. Its just making me want to say screw a computer. Or save up my money to get a mac. (which would be probably never because I am now a disabled Veteran and you dont get much at all for that. ;-( anyone? I need a life line.Ahhh, id do anything, trade services?

    Hi Skettalee

Sorry hear repair update did not resolve your problem i think its time for you to clean install Windows 10 or reset Windows 10 which will not delete your personal files. You can reset Windows 10 from Settings --> Update & Security --> Recovery.

Yes but that will not work either, remember I had done that already, this was not the first time or even the third time in the past 4 days that I have started over. I had already atleast once reinstalled windows while formatting my system drive, deleting the partition and actually formatting the drive so that option was tried already. All of that is why I’m starting to lean more on this being some weird , silent and annoying type of virus that I could possible have. Is there some other methods I can try to scan through everything I have (6+ Hdd’s) to see if their isn’t something malicious there somewhere other than Defender, Adaware, or even AVG to figure out what the heck is wrong? At this point it is ONLY (that I can find sofar ) DropBox, Google Chrome & Wacom Tablet Preference Software that are still effected and I can’t get them installed and working.

    Malwarebytes' scanner
If this program is already installed: Skip the installation and run only the scan!
Download and install: Please download Malwarebytes' scanner to your desktop.

    • Double-click mb3-setup-consumer-3.x.x.xxxx and follow the prompts to install the program.
    • Click Finish.
    • On the Dashboard, click the 'Check for Updates' button.
    • After the update completes, click the 'Scan Now' button.
    • A Threat Scan will begin. Please allow it to progress through the scanning process.
    • When the scan is complete, if there have been detections, click Quarantines Selected button to allow the program to clean what was detected.
    • In most cases, a restart will be required.
    • Wait for the prompt to restart the computer to appear, then click on Yes.

How to get logs: (Export log to save as txt)

    • After the restart once you are back at your desktop, open Malwarebytes once more.
    • Click on the Reports tab > Scan Report. (if you have done more than one scan in the past, select the most recent that shows the Date and time of the scan just performed. Press View Report button.
    • Click 'Export'.
    • Click 'Text file (*.txt)'
    • In the Save File dialog box which appears, click on Desktop.
    • In the File name: box type a name for your scan log.
    • A message box named 'File Saved' should appear stating "Your file has been successfully exported".
    • Click Ok
    • Find the log on your Desktop and Attach that saved log to your next reply.

Can you also run this Microsoft tool to repair Windows Installer service.

Fix problems that block programs from being installed or removed

Open the Command Prompt as a administrator and type following commands to reregister Windows installer engine.

    Code:
    MSIExec /unregister

    MSIExec /regserver
    Try installing application again.

Can you also execute batch script attached to this post batch script restores Windows services to there default startup state.

Still going through the motions you guys just mentioned but Malwarebyes found 2 threats:
    Malware:
    Trojan.Agent.SVC.Generic - File - C:\Windows\SVCHOST.COM
    Hijack.Exefile - Registry Value - HKLM\SOFTWARE\CLASSES\EXEFILE\SHELL\OPEN\COMMAND|

And I just reinstalled Windows, what you guys think that can be from?

Also it seems after every restart I scan again with atleast the same svCHOST.COM infection

I have deleted SVCHOST.COM malware and its back.
Trojan.Agent.SVC.Generic is a a generic detection for trojans that pretend to be a Microsoft service. Malwarebytes can remove Trojan.Agent.SVC.Generic without further user interaction.
Make sure to scan your externally attached devices.

And I just reinstalled Windows, what you guys think that can be from?
Sorry i don't understand are you saying you have clean installed Windows 10?

Woah the Hitmanpro found that almost every program I have installed is a virus it seems. 123+ threats and 309 Traces and its still running so I’m gonna have it all deleted hoping this fixes it. Confused, maybe some virus I got somehow took every program or exe that I would open and just replaced them with itself?

I had reinstalled windows last night the wa you mentioned to, by loading mediacreationtool from windows but keeping my files and apps.
Also second time running hitman and It’s still find threats, that’s after a reboot from the first one.

How do I make sure it scans my other drives?
