Today I started getting this CertificateServicesClient-AutoEnrollment event id 64 on my desktop PC. I was able to track it down using MMC > Add/Remove Snap-in > Certificates. It was a certificate under Certificates > Personal > 00188000A78EF20F.devicedns.live.com which was set to expire on 7-1-2018. No clue what this certificate is or where it came from, so I exported it, then deleted it and on reboot event id 64 warning disappeared.

Does anyone know what the certificate (00188000A78EF20F.devicedns.live.com) is or what it's for ???

    Note:
    1. I'm not recommending this as fix, just what I found and did.
    2. If you have this certificate it probably won't have the same prefix number as mine.
    3. I checked my Laptop PC and it didn't have this certificate.

The certificate is replaced by a new one , after upgrading/re-nistalling Windows .
Its the replaced certificate which give you the errors in eventlog , have to remove it............

Thank you for your response. Yes, I got an event error 64 today with a new certificate. But I don't know where to remove it?
    1. Do I search for it in Windows Explorer & delete?
    2. Do I delete it in the console window?
    3. Do I delete it in the registry? And, if so, where is it located in the registry?
