How long does it take to auto delete windows.old? My system installed creators just over 10 days ago and I just have it loads of idle time but it’s still not deleted. I thought it was 10 days or have MS changed that (I know in early days it was 30 days)

The contents are normally deleted in 10 days after an upgrade. How large is your Window.old folder?

Thanks. Its just gone past 10 days. I will restart and leave it idle for a while to try again. Its about 20 gigs in size
Don't worry about it, they say 10 days but in my experience more like 14 days or so. How hard is doing nothing...

For me, it runs everyday. But that......didn't get rid of the Windows.old folder. I wanted to let the system get rid of it on its own and waited about 15 days, and nothing happened.
I deleted it via Settings. It worked out fast and easy. See Option 4 in this Tutorial.
