The only thing you gained going from the 1300X to the 1600 is more cores, threads and L3 cache. Other than that the 1300X is actually slightly faster in both base and turbo speed,

    Compare Products

Personally I would wait until you get at least dual channel memory working (and faster memory) before trying to figure it out.

Ryzen does have XMP you should turn it on in the bios and put the ram at the correct speed

Also the only game that uses that much ram is battle field and maybe grand theft auto but everything else should be using 3.5 to 4Gb max when gaming but yours is going through the roof something you are using besides the game is eating at your memory

Check this out like i said before take the ram out put it in the other slot

Reset Cmos then re overclock and try the game and see if clearing Cmos and swapping ram slots will do anything also check off pci-e 3.0 in the bios too and report back should take you 20 minutes tops

Run memtest86+ If it shows any errors, you can stop the test right there. Otherwise run at least 8 complete passes.

    Please Run Memtest86+

    information   Information
Please download from this site only http://www.memtest.org/ in the middle of the page are the Download links, you can download the ISO.zip or the Auto USB Flash Drive installer.zip
Extract the Zip file. If you chose the ISO image, burn it to a CD using Windows Disk Image Burner or any Image burner you may have. If you downloaded the Auto USB installer, extract it, insert your USB 2.0 Flash Drive and take note of the drive letter. Run the installer, select the Flash Drive Letter, check the format box and press next. It will install memtest86+ to a flash drive. You can use either V4.20 or V5.01. Boot from your selected media. If you use V5.01 it will tell you to press certain buttons at the start, please press no buttons. The test will begin on it's own and continue to run until you stop it. It needs to run for 8 complete passes or until you receive an error. If you receive an error, stop the test. Even 1 error is a fail. Each pass tests a different part of the ram and each of the 10 tests in each pass tests something different. It takes a minimum of 8 passes to completely test the ram, more passes are better. It is quite a long test and will take several hours depending on how much ram you have. Due to the time length it is best to run overnight. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask

    You need more ram period
Did you try what i suggested ?

#1 take the ram out switch slots
#2 clear Cmos (take the round battery out for 30 seconds put it back in ) Make sure you unplugged the Power Supply before you do this so the reset will take affect

Then after all of that plug it up and boot it don't overclock just run some games first

then if it appears to run a little smoother go for a overclock but this is just to see if this will correct your input lag

done that and YES it ran alot smoother overclocked cpu back to 3.7 and ram to 2800mhz and even better but still not hitting the 60fps on medium probs because of the ammount of ram correct? but why did changing slots do that much because i have rested cmos about 5 times and it did nothing
