System wide lag with new hard drive
Hey guys I've tried looking for some sort of solution elsewhere but to no avail. I'm using the windows 10 creators update and since changing out my HDD for a new one a month ago (and a new SSD to boot from) my computer lags constantly I can't do any two tasks at the same time. It's especially noticeable when streaming a video or downloading games from Steam, the sound lags so much videos or songs begin to sound like robots, even the mouse cursor lags around the screen and I can't do anything until the downloading is complete or the stream is paused. There's nothing wrong with my actual internet, like the title implies it's system wide lag within windows itself and I'm not sure what's causing it. Any ideas?
