Brink's magic... (administrator). Good..
Hope you're using disk imaging routinely to protect your PC and data- allows you to restore Windows & and disk to a previous good state without technical help, even if your disk fails (=new disk). E.g. Macrium Reflect (free) + its boot medium + external storage for image sets.
Actually I am mistaken it is still not fixed. Don't know what happened... it's all back and thriving.
Not unique. Here's an appallingly formatted post- same thing, no solution:
Update Orchestrator Service run amok - Microsoft Community
Note DISM does not help.
** You could try setting the service to manual
Windows key + R, services.msc
Info:
Orchestrator1
Note it has to be started by sthg & is essential for updates.
Update Orchestrator Service (UsoSvc) Defaults in Windows 10
Acutally it's extremely weird but it went off on it's own... Maybe it was just in normal/usual activity...
Will mark this post as solved as soon as I feel like this issue is mostly fixed. If it's just in high activity for a minute or 2 it's fine I think ..
This stuff all started after I forced the creator's update with this Download Windows 10
Anyways thanks for helping me out.
Definitely not fixed... I tried this "Update Orchestrator Service (UsoSvc) Defaults in Windows 10" but didn't do anything.
Let me know if you have anything else up your sleeve
So far that's the only clue- however, it may be that simply disabled the service, which wouldn't take you any further. However, something triggers the service and causes it to run.I've done the "clean boot" technique, it seemed to work (it wouldn't use my CPU any more)
Based on that, you could try a cut down version of a clean boot - don't disable services, only start-ups.
Then disable services other than MS services.
Note: Update Orchestrator is listed, and use the hide MS services option.
Note it's stopped - as I said, it would seem something is triggering yours.

I don't know if any of this could help to bring clarity:
I've just deleted a whole bunch of programs and stuff I considered useless and just updated my Intel drivers, but nothing changed.
I wouldn't be surprised if this would be because of a defect driver. I don't know which one though. Do you think I should try to update them some way?
I was also thinking of maybe disabling all of windows update and only updating manually once a week or something... Would you consider doing that if nothing else helps?
Here's the overview of my task settings:
It seems to run astonishingly frequently, but I'm quite unaware of it:
You could set updates to notify only, which is how I have them set. That means that together with Defer Feature Updates + a delay of 180 days, I have a lot of control - and never an unexpected restart.
