I moved my page file to a different drive but according to WinDirStat, there's still a pagefile.sys on the previous drive. It doesn't appear in Windows Explorer even with hidden files set to show. How can I get rid of it? Thanks.

    To change that:

    • uncheck the “Automatically manage paging file size for all drives” setting.
    • click on the drive you want to move pagefile.sys to.
    • click on System Managed Size.
    • click Set.
    • click on the drive currently holding pagefile.sys (probably C:)
    • click on No paging file.
    • click Set.
    • click on OK.
