Disk Cleanup showing 2.9GB Temporary Internet Files

After doing the 15063.608 update my Temp Internet files was showing 2.46 GB in Disk Cleanup. My previously posted workaround did not work for me this time.

Two days since doing the 15063.608 update I ran Disk Cleanup and Temp Internet files showed 1.08 GB. I chose Delete and let it run. Upon completion I ran Disk Cleanup again and now Temp Internet files shows 0 bytes.

At this point, I really don't know what to say about this issue. I have changed this thread to unsolved.

The unremovable Windows.old folder is a separate issue that would be best addressed in a separate thread.

It has, many times before. Usually it's a driver in Windows.old that's incorrectly still being loaded...

Solved - One file left in Windows.old

Interestingly/weirdly enough the files in the Windows.Old folder for me seem to be Cortana tray images. It won't allow me to remove them either in Storage or elevated CMD Prompt as it says they are in use

Got it. Used CMDline upon boot and it's gone. Thanks for your help!
