Laptop suddenly slow, lags intensely in games

Ah yes, another entry in the cycle of my PC problems has begun. I'm basically coming here for help every 3 months now :P

I apologize if the title is vague, but I can't identify which part of my laptop is problematic. I do have a few pointers, though. Earlier this week, my laptop suddenly started ejecting air through the vents loudly while I was casually browsing the internet. Open up the Task Manager, and every antivirus in my computer is gobbling up disk speed carrying out some action. Of course, I was immediately afraid I was going to fall victim to WannaCry, but alas, the antiviruses kind of just died down. Another detail: yesterday, there was a critical Windows 10 update.

Just today, I start up the laptop. It takes a good 30 seconds to go from black to the starting screen, unnatural. Log in, flick my mouse around, and immediately notice the lag of the faded blue box that appears over a desktop icon when you hover over it. Open up a game, and it's running like a slideshow. I grab the latest NVIDIA graphics driver update, thinking that would be the fix, but it wasn't to be.

I have the dm_log_collector zip attached for reference.

    every antivirus in my computer
    - how many antivirus programs do you have installed?
    I see Bitdefender..

    Absolute basics:
Please run a check on your disk.
Download and run Hard disk sentinel (trial) and post a screenshot of its GUI.

Please post a screenshot of your task manager, organising any columns of interest high to low by clicking on the relevant column tab. Repeat for different columns if useful.
    (Ideally when you notice problems)

Then do a clean boot (see Tutorial section or search if unsure how to do that)
Perform a Clean Boot in Windows 10 to Troubleshoot Software Conflicts
    and repeat the above.

Please also post a screenshot of your update history. In particular, is there anything of interest around the time you mention 'earlier this week'?
