That wouldn't even be a good startup time for a 5,400RPM spinner, let alone an SSD.

do you have any system restore points from around 1 month ago when things were fast? Might be worth trying one to see if things improve.

    Hi,
    1. Check your disk.
Download and run Crystaldiskinfo (free) and post the result - based on SMART params.
    2. Run
    From an admin command prompt
[Windows key + X, click command prompt (admin)]
    chkdsk C: /F
Your PC will need to restart.

Post back the result, which you can get after a restart as follows:
How do I see the results of a CHKDSK that ran on boot? - Ask Leo!

    to check your file system.

Make sure the result is clear or fixed- else do not proceed.

    3. Boot to Safe Mode - is there any significant change in boot speed?
    4. Do a clean boot- is there any significant change in boot speed?
    5. See
Analyzing a Slow Boot with Windows Performance Recorder Helge Klein

Finally, and this is something to check only when the boot time is more reasonable, is your BIOS configured to use AHCI (faster SSD performance).

Man, i found your question as i've been looking for Kingston RBU-SNS8152S3256GG2 firmware upgrade. I was impressed to see that another person had my issue - and having the same SSD on his system. Not being able to find an update i started checking other possible solutions to the issue. I am happy to say that thru the system administrator logs i found out that the Intel Rapid Storage driver was throwing faults. After uninstalling the Intel Rapid Storage driver (now using the windows default driver) my system starts instantly and all the hangups (was lagging every so and then with my i5-6200 CPU and 8GB RAM while doing nothing tedious). It's been long since you asked but since there was no good reply I came back to share my solution to this annoying issue.

How is it you've measured your boot time down to the millisecond?
    As in 2769.625 seconds.

I'll ask the obvious question: Did this start happening right after installing 1709? I might be having the same issue over at Exceptionally long boot times (8+ minutes) after installing Fall CU. - Windows 10 Forums . Maybe we can see if we have other similarities, too.
