    High CPU and Disk usage since Microsoft March update

    Uinstack services were always problematic and MS is recently adding more features into them.
    You could try to disable CDPUser, since you can not disable the rest, most are needed by onedrive.

    sc config CDPUserSvc start= disabled

    Creators update has all svchost processes separate, so it will easier to find the culprit, but till then.

    At the time of the update, I was running Kaspersky Internet Security, and I had put cmd.exe in the "high restricted" category.
    Is it possible that this borked the update?
    If so, I could restore from a system image, and do the update again.

    Yes, I once used DisableCMD policy, which disables CMD and batch and after update, PC was unbootable.

    Okay, so it turns out that it wasn't the microsoft update after all, because I see I still have the same problem, even after a system restore back to the beginning of the week.
    It looks like it is a problem with a certain user account.
    I deleted the account, and I am recreating it. It is a microsoft account.
    Hope this solves it.

    It looks like the sync issue was caused by some permissions problems in some of my OneDrive subfolders.
    I probably could have solved the whole problem by deleting my OneDrive folder and recreating it.

    On another Windows 10 PC, Dropbox desktop stopped syncing after the March update.
    Even after a system restore, I could not get Dropbox working again, until I deleted the Dropbox folder and let it be recreated.
    It seems to me that the March update did something with permissions and/or syncing.
    Has anyone else had issues?
