    1) There were 39 HP results when searching: Pavilion X360/I

But none of them is my laptop! I'm in UK.

Pavilionx360-14-ba151sa. I entered that and product number and serial, but nothing found.
    Does this help?
    HP Pavilion x360 - 14-ba151sa Product Specifications
    Access Denied
EDIT: If you can get into HP for your exact product, you should have a section for the original configuration
--- You can determine if a change to the original configuration has occurred, note it.

If you need more information, go to
Belarc - System Management For The Internet Age. Software license management, IT asset management, Cyber Security.
It provides a very comprehensive report for your computer
--- I use that on every computer that needs more than simple attention to it
--- Sometimes it provides a direct link to customer support for your exact model
--- I believe it's in the System Model section

This is an additional link for the notebook:

Please update the specs in the "My Computer" section to display: HP Pavilion x360 - 14-ba151sa

    6) Download and install HP diagnostics windows (right upper area of this link)
HP PC Hardware Diagnostics | HP(R) Official Site
HP PC Hardware Diagnostics | HP(R) Official Site

    7) Launch the application > click system tests > click system extensive test tab > click run once (run this part of the test overnight) > the next day click component tests (some are interactive) > perform all tests > post images of all test results into the thread

Hey, so If you know how to get into your BIOS look for an option to update or RESET / RESTORE BIOS SETTINGS. I think my problem was an option called quick boot that was messing with things. So after resetting the BIOS it turned that option off. Hope it works for you
Or just turn off 'quick boot' in the bios and see if that helps - no need to reset.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I won't be able to do much as the tech guy has my system at the moment and when I get it back hopefully it will be fixed.

Thanks Simrick. When I looked at the download it said download and install so rather than set it going and not be able to stop it I ducked out. But now I see what is in the file I understand.

And the techie is going to do it for me, hopefully!
    Cheers Bertie!
