    Clearing Dump and Temp files with CCleaner


    I just install CCleaner for my PC today and i just finish my scanning it. I got this result

    My question is, its safe to clean all that windows files above with 3rd party software ?

    I untick all the Windows Explorer options because I usually want to keep those.

    If this is a fresh install of Windows then I would be more inclined to run cleanmgr first and tick the Clean up my system files button before running ccleaner.

    For each browser you have installed you only want internet cache or temporary internet files ticked plus compact database if the browser supports it.

    On the applications tab, go through each entry and ask yourself if you want to keep its history etc. Usually I keep things like NVidia installation files and flash enabled.
