How to configure OneDrive to back up user files from int HDD

    Hi all!

I've done some research on Microsoft's OneDrive. It sounds like it could replace my Carbonite subscription.

While I've got the OneDrive account set up ok, I can't get it configured quite right.

I installed an internal 1TBHDD into my laptop that came with a 256GB SSD. Windows 10 was / is preinstalled on the SSD.

I want to use the HDD for saving my user files (documents, pictures, music, videos). I've got the system configured to use my HDD as the default storage location for these items.

I do know the process for moving the OneDrive location on my PC. (I've moved it a couple times). But what I can't figure is, where do I place the OneDrive on my PC so that anything I save in my (now) default save location(s) also automatically backs up to my OneDrive in the "cloud"? What am I doing wrong? Is it even possible?

    - can you not just sync the files you want to save to OneDrive individually
    - once they're set up on OneDrive, it ought to be just a matter of refreshing the sync.. (??)
