I suggest you to run the Apps troubleshooter and check if it helps you in fixing the issue. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/instantanswers/69e76f90-d54c-44cf-9851-c2d1542790db/run-the-troubleshooter-for-windows-apps

If the issue persists, then I suggest you perform the steps below and check if it helps.

    1. Open the “Settings” menu by clicking the three horizontal dots in the upper right corner of the Edge window and choose “Settings.”
    2. Under Clear browsing data, click “Choose what to clear” and then click “Show more.” There are a lot of data types here. Select them all and click “Clear.” Restart your PC and re-open Edge for a clean slate.

    Hi,

    That figures.
Pls run services.msc and make sure Remote Procedure Call service is set to "Automatic" and start it if it is stopped.
    It should always run.

If it should refuse to start then we have a more complex issue.

    Cheers,
