A timeout occurred while waiting for the EHCI host controller
I've upgraded to Windows 10 and already I've got an even viewer full of errors...
"A timeout occurred while waiting for the EHCI host controller Asynchronous Schedule to transition to the enabled state."
Not all USB devices shut down but randomly one by one they eventually cut out for a few minutes or not at all forcing me to reboot.
Inside of 8 minutes I have 20 errors. usbehci - Event ID 3
This was not a clean install, I upgraded from Win7 Ultimate. I have cleanly installed Win10 before and still had the same issue.
The errors seem to be connected to my Cisco Valet wireless network adapter. Installing a cheap Japanese knock off brand pci wireless card and there has yet to be another usbehci error.
The usb wifi cisco stick is relatively new and there doesn't seem to be any driver updates.

Successfully completed a clean reinstall with no problems, this time it picked up my Nvidia 310M graphics card (will update my other thread) and installed the latest driver for it.
Only one remaining issue and that is a driver for the...
Is there a fix for this? I have no idea what triggers it but my rig went absolutely nuts last night. Random USB devices kept shutting off and turning back on. The wifi adapter had to be plugged in to a new usb port every time it timed out.
Anyone know where I can get this, and get this updated.:confused:
everywhere I look on the web is trying to sell a Driver package!!
I noticed today that my USB3 do not work any more, and after checking device manager, can see a code 10 error for usb xhci compliant host controller
I have tried un-installing and reinstalling this, but still the error.
