If only 1 in showing up out of 56 & it's a not a major AV, then probably nothing to worry about.

The program wAPPer for G Mail looks like it has high CPU usage, but there may be other problems related to Google. I've seen similar posts of Chrome with high CPU usage which I notice is high on one of your screenshots.

Suggest you disable wAPPer as mentioned in the earlier post & see if this solves the high CPU usage. A few various posts I found relating to high Chrome usage may also be helpful. If the problem continues, consider applying these actions to see if they help the problem.

With some help from a Google forum, I found the problem.

He said that Chat and/or Hangouts were turned on and they were trying to connect with the Google Talk Server and that was causing the strange CPU pattern.

He also informed me to use "Log Out" to close GMail instead of just closing the tab on my browser. Logging out resets the Chat and Hangouts features to OFF.

I found this thread and thought my experience could be useful to somebody. I had the very same problem: when logged on Gmail with 2 tabs, 2 accounts, the Gmail tabs took almost 500 MB of RAM and continuously spiked on CPU usage, every few seconds they went from 1-2% to 50%. I disabled all extensions, disabled hardware acceleration, tried everything suggested but with no result. At last I realized I could try to disable the chat and calendar gadgets I still had open in my Gmail tabs. Puff! Magically everything worked fine! Now my 2 Gmail tabs take around 180MB and the CPU usage is constantly around 0 !!! Try to believe. Chrome v. 50.0.2661.102 m, on Win 7.

It also wouldn't hurt to run a scan with Malwarebytes & AdwCleaner to make sure nothing is in your system trying to connect & d/l things to your system. Both programs are free.

On the Malwarebytes choose the free one. It will work as well as the paid one.

AdwCleaner has had some false positives in the past, so if possible, make a system image & backups. For a while they were having some issues, but I haven't seen anything posted recently so they probably sorted the problem.

Something troubles me, you did a factory reset & the problem remained. It's probable that the CPU problem is software based or something else, but there is a possibility you have a rootkit. If this is the case, yes, some rootkits can survive a reinstall or factory reset. To cover your bases, d/l & run TDSSKiller to check for that possibility.

I'm sorry to hear the problem hasn't been sorted yet. I don't normally get online during my afternoon hours, hence the reason for the delay in the response, I apologize for that.

My next suggestion would have been to do a refresh or a reset.

I'm glad to hear things are going good. Keep an eye on things & make a note of anything you open and note how much CPU usage is needed after opening it. If the performance starts to degrade drastically after opening a certain program then there's a clue & the probable cause. It could be because of your hardware or not enough memory, hopefully that is not the case.

Has process explorer started to work again, if so, then launch it & keep it running & you can watch your system from there with better accuracy.

BTW, money is low everywhere
