I game alot, sometimes I lag when playing various games. Sometimes I lag when playing multiplayer games, what is the cause of that, so I'll know next time I buy a computer. Memory Card, Graphic Card or Video card?

Depending on a lot of things.
I'd say your Memory first then at
second would be graphics card for sure.
As for what to do about it?
We need a little more info on what
    your running and gaming with.

I agree. Without knowing what your specs are we are just guessing at what would cause your issues. What games you are having problems with may help as well. Looking up your Model, it depends on which one you have. From what I see it looks like you have a dual core CPU, max 4 GB of ram and Intel graphics. If you are playing some of the newer games, it could be simply be a lack of resources.

This will help you fill out your system specs.

Please fill out your System Specs
    information   Information
Your System Specs will help us to help you, and doing it in this manner will make them available to all helpers in every post and keep us from hunting for them. We ask that you fill them out in as much detail as possible including Desktop or Laptop, Model number if it is an OEM computer and all components with the Manufacturer and Model number if possible.
If you will go to your last post and click the 'System Specs' in the bottom left of the post, you will find a link to update your system specs. Please fill those out in as much detail as possible, making sure to click save at the bottom of the page. If you would like to know what we would like, you can click 'My System Specs' at the bottom left of this post to see mine. If you do not know what your components are, this will help you accomplish this task. System Specs - Fill in at Ten Forums

I disagree. Computer users love to throw memory into a computer as the first upgrade.

    In my humble opinion:

    1. Replace spinner hard drive with an SSD.
    2. A good graphics card with lots of dedicated video memory, especially if the current system is running on integrated graphics.
    3. Then look at the RAM upgrade.

    I stand by my post;
I respect your right to disagree.
    I'm noting from; personal experience.
I've had a bunch times; where my computer could not even handle WoW.
Let alone simple low impact gaming. It was in my case due to memory.
I do agree that there could be; other things that would hurt it for sure, not always.
Folks should note that not every system
out of the box was built for; the purpose of gaming. I have learned this the hard way.
I just wanted; to save Fidel, some money and hard-ache in the future.

The basics for your next gaming computer, in my opinion:

You want a dedicated graphics card with at least 8 GB of video memory.
At least 8 GB of RAM.
A minimum of 500 GB SSD.
    A minimum 600W power supply.
Then, after that, the most powerful processor you can afford.

Not all games would have same impact on HW performance. Some are more processor and some more graphic oriented. I'd suggest finding exact HW list and then check on particular games sites to see what is minimal and what is recommended/optimal HW requirements. In addition, there are some games that would give a mainframe computer a good workout because of bad coding.

Each case is different and depends on what you are running and what you are running it on. And god Count you couldn't be more right about the coding. Some game developers just aren't that good. As soon as the OP gives some real specs we can figure this out

    Nicely said CountMike.
I like that you accepted both ideas that are in play in this thread.
I mean this is what this forums all about bring folks ideas together.
Hopefully soon the original poster will post with some updated info and
specs. I also feel it depends on the game, before anything else.
