Launching apps in Win10 is extremely slow

    Hi,

Starting some weeks ago, launching apps on my windows 10 machine became unbearably slow.
    My observations are:
    1. Launching an app can take minutes (even launching Notepad, or trying to connect to a new Wifi network).
    2. After an app is running then it is responsive. So I think the issue is mostly with launching apps
    3. Login also takes a very long time
Here are links to my system info log and events log
Thanks a lot for the assistance

    Try this:

Left click on the Windows button in the task bar, hover Shutdown or sign out, click on Restart.

    Restarting doesn't help.

Your log says there is only 839mb of available ram ?

& your pagefile is 4gb so recommend 8GB in dual channel mode ?

    Aawergh!

This sh*t just hit me, all Metro apps is starting ridiculously slow on my Windows 10 machine.
Only such "Windows" apps are affected though, everything else runs smoothly.

    Ideas?

Someone mentioned poor graphics drivers, could that be the culprit?

    Do a clean boot and see if it help;
If the clean boot solve the problem this means that there is a service or a program that needs to be disabled.

Also you can check your antivirus, suspend it and see what happens
