That reminds me about a friend who updated his internet to 400Mbps. I tested his laptop and only got around 35Mbps. I expected this because his laptop is probably around 7-8 years old. He could have gotten a USB Wi-Fi adapter for a faster internet speed. However, another solution was to make a wired Ethernet connection. This was easy because the router sat right behind the laptop.
Similar thing even with wired internet, a friend of mine has some really ancient Athlon x2 system and got a gigabit internet but his system had only 100megabit network. Had to get new network card to catch up. Problem was to find a PCI card because his machine has only one PCIe port and GPU was in it.

    Hi folks

anybody got a Windows 10 VM to run on a Raspberry PI device -- one just bigger than a cigarette pack size !!

Would W10 even run "native" on one of these devices -- I think Windows 10 can run on an ARM processor - I've seen isos on UUPDUMP .

    Anybody ??

    Cheers

What is VM version? I have seen a utility that claims to replace OS or dual boot Windows 10 on Android devices, but I wouldn't risk destroying my smartphone...

Further to my much earlier post about the 15 year old compaq pc running win 10 32 bit + gaming (amd athlon 3500+, gt 730) Crysis - Never solved the stuttering sound issue but on a fresh install of xp, it's fine. Must keep digging.

If you let Windows Update automatically install the sound driver, it could explain the stuttering. Next time try downloading the official driver and you should see some difference. As a last resort you can install the Windows XP driver in Windows 10 32-bit. Never forget installing DirectX 9.0c runtime as well.

Thanks for the advice. I have dx9c installed. Will try the win xp driver as you advised!

Except for the graphics driver, you can install the Windows XP driver in Windows 10 32-bit for most devices including sound, LAN, printer etc. I use the XP driver as a last resort if there is no Windows 10 or 8 or 7 or Vista 32-bit driver for a device. In very rare occasions when a Windows XP x64 (64-bit) driver is available, it can be installed on Windows 10 64-bit if there is no Windows 10 or 8 or 7 or Vista 64-bit driver for a device. This would be the exception, as it is more likely that the manufacturer provides a Windows Vista 64-bit driver than a Windows XP x64 driver for the device.

Hello guys! Nice to see so active page for this Topic. I'm going crazy trying to install windows 10 32bit on a pentium 4 519K.

I see everywere that that socket cpu are compatible with w10 32bit but i really cant install it.

After flashing USB and boot I see the blinking dash and then the system reboot on loop... Dash and reboot, dash and reboot.... I know that i can't install 64bit (on update tool i saw lahf/sahf issue. But i think no problem with 32bit. What I should do?

    Thanks!

If it is Pentium 4 socket 478, you cannot install Windows 8 or 10 because NX/PAE is not supported. If it has NX/PAE, check BIOS if it is enabled.
