Check you have no other disks connected having an active partition (use MiniTool Partition Wizard for this). Also, install Autoruns to check what is loading at start up and disable the bloatware you don't need. I would also run sfc /scannow from an admin command prompt.

Also do a basic disk check before running SFC /SCANNOW

    From an admin command prompt
[Windows key + X, click command prompt (admin)]
    chkdsk C: /F
Your PC will need to restart.
Make sure the result is clear or fixed- else do not proceed.
Post back the result, which you can get after a restart as follows:
How do I see the results of a CHKDSK that ran on boot? - Ask Leo!

Also check your page file settings haven't mysteriously changed- this has happened to a couple of people.

Please post a screenshot of Disk Management- we would like to see that all Windows related partitions are on your system drive.

If you turn off completely the PC from Power Source, it could be the first signs that the Motherboard is going bad.

Ok that's good.. so continue with sfc /scannow from an elevated (admin) command prompt as suggested above.

    These are just basic checks.
